"I spent March of 2020 driving around New Zealand in a campervan with my girlfriend. It was meant to be one last big holiday before we 'settle down' - whatever that means. We were driving through the northern part of the South Island, very much a stretch of driving that in the guidebooks and through word of mouth, hadn't really been mentioned at all. It was a perfect evening and I was constantly getting agitated that we couldn't stop more so I could take photos. We seemed to be passing through unbelievably beautiful places too fast. After a day or so I'd settled into the fact that the South Island is all beautiful and if we stopped everywhere, we'd get nowhere
