During the past two years, Chris Moon intentionally retreated from the public eye, choosing the serenity of Devon as his sanctuary. Here, he immersed himself in the vibrant colours and rich tapestry of life surrounding him. This profound period of observation and introspection forms the basis of his latest body of work.

Round My Way Unveiled

Round My Way invites art enthusiasts to witness the evolution of Chris Moon's artistic expression. This collection of figurative paintings captures the essence of a day spent on Woolacoombe Beach in North Devon. For Moon, the beach is a realm of escapism and liberation, a boundless source of inspiration for his figurative artistry. As he observed the convergence of humanity upon this pristine landscape, Moon's imagination ignited. The canvases began to take shape, incorporating stolen images from social media and magazines, blurring the line between abstraction and representation. Moon himself describes it as a constant interplay between half-lies and half-truths.
